| Grapevine, Texas : Fort Worth & Western RR; Tarantula Train; Grapevine Vintage Railroad |
| Grapevine, Texas was named after the Mustang grapes that grew here in abundance. The town aquired a steam train some time back and now has a lease to own. The train belongs to the Fort worth & Western R R and is all so known as the Tarantula Train. It's new name is Grapevine Vintage RR. The station is in downtown Grapevine, a Cotton Belt RR station. The station is partly ticket station and muesum. The train runs from Grapevine to the Fort Worth Stockyards. A trip worth taking. At the location of the station there is all so a historical park of several types of vintage building and structures of interest. The weather that day was cloudy and it did rain while at the stockyards. My Wife and I made this trip on the 4th of July 2006 Enjoy the photos.
